Students in the program pay tuition and fees to the campus they are physically attending for each year.
For the first two years, tuition and fees are paid to HKU. For the last two years of the program, tuition and fees are paid to UC Berkeley. Tuition and fees for both institutions are subject to change. Similar to tuition and fees, financial aid and scholarships are administered by the campus of attendance.

Tuition
Tuition fees are calculated based on whether students are admitted as a “local” or “non-local” student. The tuition fee for the current intake 2023-2024 is HKD 42,550 (local)/ HKD 182,450 (non-local) applied to both Year 1 and Year 2 studies; these fees are subject to review annually and the new fees – if revised – will be announced at the launch of our application cycle. More information on HKU fees can be found on the HKU International Qualifications page.
